Your account

Click your name or avatar at the bottom of the left menu. The page title is Account.

On a phone or tablet, tap Menu (top right). Your name is at the bottom of the list; tap it, or tap Account settings under it.

What you can change

You can change your name and change your password.

Your name

1. Open Account.
2. Type your name in Your name - for example, fix a typo or ALL CAPS from checkout.
3. Click Save name.

You see Name saved. The new name shows at once in the left menu. Loquy emails that greet you by name use it too.

Spaces at the start and end are removed, and double spaces become one. The name cannot be empty and can be up to 80 characters.

A new purchase does not change the name back.

Your name here is not the by name on your course page, and not the instructor name on student certificates. Both come from the course page author box. To change them, open the Course page step and edit Name under Author. See Course page - Author.

Two places keep your workspace name, which is the name from your first purchase, and you cannot change it on Account: the by line on the public video page, and the name some themes print in the video footer. If they show the wrong spelling, write hello@loquy.ai.

Your password

1. Open Account.
2. Enter your current password and a new password twice.
3. Click Change password.

The new password must be at least 8 characters, with 1 uppercase letter and 1 number.

After a change, other devices are signed out. Sign in again on each device.

If you never had a password, Account asks you to set one before you use the rest of the app.

What you cannot change here

Your email is display only. You cannot edit it yourself.

Sign out

1. Scroll to the bottom of the left menu.
2. Click Sign out.

On a phone or tablet, tap Menu (top right), scroll to the bottom of the list and tap Sign out.

You return to sign in.
