What students see
Hosted course pages are a Premium and Business feature. This page is for authors. It describes the public page students open from your link.
Students do not need a Loquy author account.
You control who can open the page: Public, Unlisted, or Password. See Publish.
The lesson page
Each lesson shows the video first. Blocks you added in the page editor sit above or below it.
Students see the page in the course language. Your editor stays in English.
How to dress the page: Course page.
Quiz
On Business, if you added Quiz, the intro shows:
- Heading: Quick check – did it stick?
- Body: N quick questions, one at a time. Pass and this lesson is marked complete — and if a certificate is on, it adds – finish every lesson to earn your certificate.
- Button: Start the quiz →
The quiz then runs one question at a time.
How to add one: Quizzes.
AI tutor
On Business, if you added AI tutor, the heading is Ask anything about this lesson.
The first question can ask for an email. That gate starts: One last thing – where do we save your progress? No spam, it's just your student record for this course.
The button is Ask the tutor →.
How to add it: AI tutor.
Saving progress
When they need to leave an email, they see One last thing – where do we save your progress?
That can happen on signup, a quiz, or the tutor gate above. See Students and leads.
Under the course title, students see N of M done and a progress bar. A lesson with a video gets its ✓ when they have watched it to the end (about 95%). A lesson with no Loquy video (page content or an embedded YouTube/Vimeo video only) gets its ✓ as soon as they open it. This progress is kept in the student's own browser.
Workbook, study pack, transcript, and audio
If Workbook is on the page, the card can show Open & print. On the workbook itself the button is Print / save as PDF. The printed workbook does not depend on the student's fonts: arrows and checklist boxes are drawn shapes, and long dashes print as a plain hyphen ( - ).
If you turned on a study pack, the open card often says Open the transcript & TL;DR →. The study pack page uses the headings TL;DR and Transcript. Students may also see Read the transcript, Listen (MP3), or Listen to this lesson.
How to add those extras: Course page.
